Sabra Eden

We celebrated Sabra’s birthday on November 13. Our second daughter. I found her name 13 years ago while staying in Cannon Beach. I saw a boutique named Sabra J’s Attic and I announced that I would name my next daughter Sabra and I did. Anna and I happened to be in Cannon Beach on her birthday so we stopped in.  The owner’s were thrilled with our story and that we named our baby after the beloved grandmothers that the boutique was name for.  They gave me little gifts and birthday blessings to take home to Sabra.

I started eden’s bouquet when Sabra was little. She was my model and my inspiration. Eden from her middle name and Bouquet because I planned (still do!) to eventually offer a “bouquet” of fine things.

Here she is today, my smart, beautiful and funny 12 year old.  She has always been the caring, nurturing sort and is like a 2nd mother to the little girls. She dresses them, feeds them and tells them bedtimes stories. They absolutely adore her. Though civilized in public, she is a total goof at home. Next time you see her ask her to tell you her dinosaur story.  We love you, Sabra Eden, and hope you never change.
