This is the dwelling we call “The Shack”. We lived in this tiny little place while we built our guest house. We then moved into the guest house while we built the main house. Did I tell you we first lived in an RV? It was a 4 year process. The shack is where our guests stay.
What a crazy week we have had. We had guests coming in and were trying to get all the last minute school preparation done because school starts tomorrow. Right before our guests arrived we found out that…
we are having a baby!
I haven’t had time to wrap my head around that, but this morning it all became very overwhelming and I crashed. I just woke up from a long and much needed nap. Oh, the wonders of good sleep. We are bracing ourselves for the sickness, but are over the moon about a brand new baby.
It’s just beautiful!! And Congrats on the new addition!

ps – I know this sounds weird but SOUR candy (those lil sour watermelon slices and peach slices) helped with my “morning” sickness. I wish they would name it something else. Like “anytime you are breathing” sickness. YUCK.

What blessed news for your beautiful family! Last time I checked your blog, I was struck by the photo of Hazel..her big eyes looking so grown and content. She seemed ready to be big now. Almost not needing help with her candles. Who knew that meant she would be a “Big Sister”!! Hope you are feeling well.
