It has been 2 years since this, here. Levi showed Hazel her birth video while she sat at the kitchen counter watching me make spaghetti the other night. We all oohed and aahhed, but Hazel was rather concerned about the crying.
What a girl she is. My plans of coddling her dashed when she walked at 8.5 months and potty trained herself a month ago. Any offers of help result in a resounding “I do it!” from her rosebud lips. She gets her way and marches around the place dressed up with everything covered but her unmentionables because her waist in in the leg hole of her undies and her shirt is on backwards.

Daddy bought her a cake . Violet is telling her how to blow out her candles.
Even her new dolly got to have birthday cake. The party was not the fancy affair that her 1st birthday was, but at the end of the day when I asked her if she had a happy birthday she gave a hearty nod and contented smile as she fell asleep snuggled between daddy and I.

That teared me up, I can’t believe how big Hazel is and Violet! And wow, potty trained! Can she come teach Ady (my 3yr old) because she is STUBBORN! Miss ya lady! hugs!
I can’t either, what a doll! I suspect that she’ll probably be reading and baking up her own cakes soon!
