The Pacific Northwest is in the midst of heat wave. Without air conditioning I would surely die. The little ones have been staying cool in the cow tank. This cow tank as a kiddie pool is an excellent notion. Sturdy and….sturdy.
Too hot to cook, we went to town for supper. The car thermometer read 104 degrees and it is supposed to be hotter tomorrow.
This little girl may be cute, but she turns into a wicked troll after 9 pm. She just finished throwing my whole stash of vintage buttons across the room and piddling on my floor, giggling all the while. Time for bed I think. Goodnight my friends.

Oh what memories! My children’s first swimming pool for years was a Rubbermaid water trough! I almost miss it now. I loved how it heated the water, we would often pretend it was our hot tub, lol, ahh, country living.
