Homemade Bread & Owls

Homemade with love by Tsasa (sil).

I used Levi’s mom’s French bread recipe for hamburger buns and they turned out sort of huge. Riley versus burger.

Rainy day owls. I had to dream up something to do with the children during Spring break so we didn’t all go crazy. It has been cold and snowy and we have cabin fever. ย We took out my baskets of scraps and made owl pillows inspired by the Pioneer Women. ย Then I decided to make doll blankets and blankets for Jessie Pearl and burp diapers and more pillows. I am still making stuff. I can’t stop. Windy Ridge is littered with vintage chenille, thread and bread crumbs.

This morning I went to my weekly doctor appointment and I am happy to report that all is well. I am squished and weary, but all is well.
