I am reluctant to call this a layette because that implies that you can only wear this on a newborn. Not so. It is so darling on the bigger babies as well. Perfect for heirloom photos or just lounging around the house. Hazel is wearing the size 6/12 months.
I designed this for Hazel before she was born and it is finally on the way. Soft, lightweight knit with lace trim. The wrap top closes with 3 tiny snaps and a knit bow. All 4 pieces can be worn together or worn separately with other styles. Mix it up! The blanket is like an old favorite tee and we use it with everything, even a hanky for baby’s little nose.
Hazel started walking on the 12th at 8.5 months. I need to get photos and video for you. I am still trying to get used to my 26″ child pitter-pattering around the house.
