Now this truly is a woman to admire! A woman that has been married to my dad for 37 years. A woman that has birthed 12 babies. 8 boys, 4 girls. Do you realize that equals 9 solid years of pregnancy? (don’t quote me, I am not good with numbers). After adding up the months, days & hours I figure she has probably retched into the toilet around 20,000 times. If she can do it, I can do it! (Probably not actually).
Most of the time I think she figures we are worth it.

4 weeks pregnant and so far no retching! That is a good thing because once it starts it doesn’t stop for a long time. It is always so scary the first few times (see, I am a wimp!) but it’s amazing how you get used to the misery after a week or so. For example, I will be in the bathroom barfing and the kids will be outside the door asking questions like all is normal.
“mom! can I have a cookie?”
“yes” retch “but” retch “no” retch “more” retch “than” retch “one!” retch retch retch

I really find you such an inspiration Jen and wish you so much happiness and success! I will continue to spread the EB word every chance I get! I would adore to have a ton of children, want one more to add to my 2, I just don’t know how I’d do more than that! You rock!
