Birdcage

tweetie-birds

My favorite Farm Chicks find…an old birdcage for the tweetie birds.  You don’t even know how long I’ve been looking for the perfect cage.  Pedro & Rita love it.

Speaking of birds…

Levi couldn’t sleep while we were gone because the birds decided to camp out in the master suite.  We keep the door open so they can fly where they want, but they usually don’t stay out too long. He couldn’t catch them so he was forced to listen to their chirpy serenade all night long. I laughed and laughed.  Might be a good thing that he couldn’t catch them.

(The birdcage was purchased from NEST of Burien, Washington.  Does anyone know if this vendor has a blog or website?  I would love to link to them.)

  1. Be careful with those type os cages, especially ones that are painted , the can come off and be harmful to the birds. I use to work at pier 1 Imports and had someone purchase a cage and a bird died from eating the paint. Just a heads up. Hopeful this one was made for real life birds.

  2. We had parakeets when I was little named Ignatius and Pretentious…until my mom inadvertently knocked over the cage whilst vacuuming and the kitty had her way with them. I still have the cool cage. I’m not sure if I picked up a card from Nest, though. Burien is one of my stomping grounds…do they have a brick & mortar store?

Thank you for linking to me!
