My 5 year old son, Wyatt, is a brilliant artist. This drawing here depicts his mother (that would be me). It truly is an amazing likeness. Especially the hair. And the round belly with the baby.
We are moved into the main house! Today I even have internet in the office. Now if I can just climb out from underneath this pile and get it all put away I will be able to think.

Love the drawing! My 6 year old keeps giving me drawings of me with the baby in my tummy…and drawings of me after the baby is born, pushing her in a stroller or looking at her in a crib, etc. Last night she gave me a drawing of myself wearing a dry-fit sports outfit in blue and green (a color combination she’s currently enthralled with). I wondered if it was a subtle hint that she’s ready for my body to go back to its normal size. I can’t fit as many of the kids in my lap at one time these days!

HA! I really like your “wing-like” arms and fingers…is this your “super hero” talent…that you can “fly away” from stressful situations??? 🙂 If you want to hear something funny, try this…ask Wyatt to assign “super hero” strengths and talents to each member of your family. I had Shelby do this when she was about 5 and what she came up with was halarious!!!
I adore looking at a child’s artwork. I’m still fascinated looking at what I have left of mine from years ago. So curious to know what I was thinking. See, now I am going to e-mail you one of Aiden’s :). Beautiful to have the shot of him holding his art btw, the wonder and pride in his face to go along with it!!!
