Almost there

Tonight we lay our heads in Tennessee.  2400 miles travelled, 300 to go.  We should reach out destination mid-morning tomorrow.  We spent today outrunning severe weather.  Kept things exciting.

lightening

This is what a lightening bolt looks like on the iPhone camera.  I had the poor thing gasping as I furiously clicked the button trying to capture it.  I have time on my hands.

St. Louis

Nebraska, Missouri, Illinois, Tennessee. Beauitul country.  I want to elaborate, but I am weary. Silly, since all I do is sit.  Tonight I feel 36 (because I am).  Good night my friends.

  1. I have traveled these same roads. The weather is freaky but the beautiful surroundings make up for it.
I am in South Carolina. The weather has been gorgeous the last two day’s! No humidity and on the cooler side. Love it. Be prepared for possible thunderstorms this weekend. Enjoy your time here in the Carolina’s!
    Drive safely!

  2. Almost here! Wonderful! It looks like we are not going to have everything done….so not sure if we can get married on Saturday. :):) We do have a marriage license, my tux, her dress & a pastor….so it just might happen either way. I’m ready, even if we don’t get it all done…..Looks like that bad weather is going to make one of us run to Charlotte to pickup Jeremy! His flight from Chicago was cancelled by the weather….oops…he just texted…cancelled again…now coming into GSP after lunch…they are gonna be TIRED! Drive safe!

  3. I do miss Tennessee. We will be heading there next weekend for a graduation. And I plan on meeting up with an old high school friend. I hope that there will be a break in the bad weather for the wedding. Oh yeah, welcome to South Carolina!
