The sofa in the window changed everything. Suddenly the master suite has a splash of color and I love it.
The proprietress had just put it in the store. A vintage Italian sofa in mint condition and sturdy to boot. Having no intention of buying furniture that day, I was torn. Should I or should I not? I snapped a photo and asked Twitter. Twitter said YES.
The sofa matches my set of original paintings found while junking.
I’m not sure how old it is, but we found a tag stating it was reupholstered in 1969.

Absolutely love it. I have a large, pillowtop jewelry chest at the foot of my bed for the kids to lay on. My boy just broke it on Saturday. I’d considered a red velvet setee. I love your couch. I think it goes perfect in your bed nook, and seems to be the icing on the cake to your other finds. Good job. And you can always count on Twitterers to encourage a good purchase! Hehe
I knew this would look perfect at WR!!! I absolutely love the color and style of it and the pillows are great, too. It even looks comfortable-not always true of vintage furniture-lol!

It happens with most people that they like furniture at the store and when they buy them at home they find it uncomfortable. This actually shouldn’t happen. Buying furniture is of course a big investment, so you should make proper research before buying furniture. Buy home theater furniture that matches with your style and preferences. Always look for furniture that gives comfort.
