A spring fed pond on our property. Dreamy, because this means I don’t have to bring the kids to the overcrowded lakes and rivers this year. Just load them up in the ranch buggy with some towels, cheap soda pop and a picnic basket. Admission: FREE.
We have had a very gray June here in the Pacific Northwest. When the sun came out yesterday the kids were ready to go swimming and start their summer, even though the temperature was only about 75 at most.
Oh! You need to stock that pond for your hubby! As a surprise, maybe. Catfish, perhaps. I followed a pond-stocking truck down the highway the other day; it was a tanker-type affair.
