I was awakened at 2 am this morning by Sabra’s frantic whispering.
“Mom, Macy had her kittens on top of me!”
Oh my.
It never fails, Macy always manages to get to Sabra’s bed when the birthing hour arrives. Too exhausted to deal with feline midwifery, I told Sabra to grab a blanket and sleep on the couch. By the time we woke up mama cat had hauled her kindle of 5 into the laundry basket and refused to budge. The kids are delighted.
I have been struggling to get back on track(as if I ever was on track) after our journey across the United States. I have several hundred unread emails to go through, photos to edit, house to clean & the donkey is in desperate need of a pedicure.
A sneak peek of Jon & Sue’s wedding:
They look so happy. 🙂 Sabra has a cool story she can tell people for the rest of her life.
It’s so nice to see new baby kitties. My sweet 2 year old barn cat, Johnny (John Cash), went to be with the Lord yesterday, May 20th. My precious indoor kitty Pope preceded him 6 months ago today, on November 20th. : (
I’m glad you and your husband made it through the midwestern storms all right. Now you just need time for your soul to catch up with your body. I think that’s how my mom says it. : ) She needs that too…this morning she fried her alarm clock in the microwave…
Best regards,
Julie M.
ps I’m glad you liked Nebraska City. Thank you for the note.
