The Spirit moves. I feel the instruction of my Lord, but as an impatient child, I tug away from His grasp in zealous haste.
I think of my children and how when I give them a task they dash off half way through my instructions only to come back a few minutes later to have me retell them. I am that way with my Lord.
I think of how we go on walks with the children and how they run on ahead despite our warnings only to come back crying because of a scraped knee or fear of being lost. I am that way with my Lord.
I am learning what it means to wait on the Lord.
He is always patient & kind. Holding on and gently correcting.
Direct me in the path of Your commands, for there I find delight. (Psalm 119:35 NIV)

Hi Jen, I always read your sweet blog post, but rarely comment ~ I was suppose to get this message today, following is what My Pastors Posted on FB for today:
As we walk this journey of life, hand in hand with Jesus, we are better able to handle the bumps along the road when we know that we are not alone. Jesus is always there; He is the best partner to have. Stay connected to Him, you won’t regret it!
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” John 15:5
Message heard, Loud & Clear
Have a Blessed & Beautiful Weekend,
Cheryl
It’s the waiting that drives me crazy . . . always in prayer :O)
Love the visual picture of us as children. So true!! Those “skinned knees” keep me rushing back to the Father again and again.
