Windy Ridge was hit by a nasty virus. We lost a week to sickness. It started with the little girls and quickly moved through every single family member, including the braggarts that claimed “they never get sick”. On Saturday night there were 7 of us violently ill at the same time. It was a week of Popsicles, barf buckets and dehydration.
My sweet boy wrote this note for me while I was sick, right before it got him.
One thing is certain—we all have a renewed appreciation for good health.

We had it too and in Georgia! 2 boys went down with it. 2 more of us had other issues. 5th just didn’t feel well. Then hubs got the flu and I got a sinus infection. Tamaflu didn’t help so back to dr for him for what ended up being a chest infection and a sinus infection.
In the middle of it all, worst migraine in a long time. And our pollen count was approximately 8,897,492.
So ready for summer.

I pray you all get better soon and that your immune systems become strong enough to not relapse. And that when you are well, you can celebrate with some delicious food you can keep down…
