We spent a couple of lazy days on the Oregon & Washington coast celebrating our 18th wedding anniversary. Hazel tagged along for the breast milk. Other than that she wasn’t too thrilled about being confined to a carseat and her parents arms. She wanted free and she let it be known.
This charming little aquarium in Seaside, Oregon did hold her attention for a little while. It was fun to watch the wonder in her expressions and hear her (half horrified, half excited) squeals. I told Levi to let her touch the starfish while I took a photo. I then proceeded to freak out and yell “don’t let her eat the starfish!”, poor guy.
You make things sound so simple — you have all those beautiful kids, your business, etc., and yet you managed to steal away to celebrate your anniversary (congratulations, by the way!). I have one child who will be 20 next month and I can’t seem to get out often enough to the grocery, much less a weekend getaway. You GO girl!! 🙂
Sometime you could blog about how you get it all done! I’m all ears! 😉
