A lot went on over the weekend. Guests from the east and the south. Piles of family and friends. A Smörgåsbord of good food. Paint, feathers and rhinestones. It was the weekend of the annual Windy Ridge Autumn Festival.
Missy & Murphy were our special guests from the South. Wonderful Alabama folk. We had a grand time just hanging around the house all weekend playing games, visiting and eating Nisu. The kids are in love and I think they would have all ditched Windy Ridge and went home with Missy if we let them.
At some point Hazel was blessed with a big glob of black craft paint on the tip or her nose and it stayed there all day.
Violet, showing off her kitten. A little runt she named Snuggle-Snuggle.
More photos from the Festival soon…
I thought something must be going on, always miss your daily blogs. Glad you had a good weekend, looks like you had great fun!
How fun!! I love your cozy weekends with friends – and the gorgeous pictures that result. 🙂
NISU! so funny!!! I think it’s officially called PULLA and NISU is more like a dialect word for pulla. But I also call it NISU!
