I snapped this a moment ago through my living room window. St. Helen’s looking so majestic against the blue winter sky.
I read the news of a 6.1 magnitude aftershock in Haiti this morn and my heart aches for these people. Kinda makes me wish Windy Ridge wasn’t sitting on a major fault line. Which seems kinda silly when you are perched near a volcano.
GOOD MORNING!
It is a beautiful day!
Oh how I miss the Pac NW! Le sigh.
Beautiful picture:) Good Morning to you too:)
WOW!!that is amazing & beautiful!!
I am soooo jealous of your view of the MT. My foundest memories as a child were spent at Mt St Helens. I am dating myself but they were almost all prior to the explosion!!!!
You got me, I’m clicking thru.
Oh how I miss the NW….The mountains are majestic, heck, the highest land in Fl is an ant hill!!

Amazing! And I thought that my Colorado Mountains were beautiful?!?!?!
Wow! What a view! No wonder you are so creative when you’re given such a profound glimpse of “The Creator” every morning.
WOW Beautiful! You are really close if you took that pic with a camera. You guys need to pray everynight it doesn’t erupt!!!!!
I’m from North Dakota & this picture makes me SO jealous! Although I’m sure my anxiety would make me think it would erupt every single time I looked out the window.
WOW! I didn’t realize you lived that close the St. Helens! Does it ever make you feel a little apprehensive?
It’s definatley a gorgeous view!!!
Ehehe, I just showed Dave and his response was ‘I want to live there!’
Beautiful! We are in the middle of a hot summer here in Australia – we never get snow where i live 🙁
WOW! Living in Southern California and living through this wild weather and rain we’re having right now…this is a beautiful sight!
How Far away from You Is Mt. St. Helens???? from the photo it Looks Very Close ~ What a Beautiful God Created Beauty….

What a gorgeous view! Lucky you to be able to look out your window and see something so beautiful:)

We live on the San Andreas Fault in SoCal. In light of Haiti, it’s a very sobering thought.
