My Sunday afternoon

It was a beautiful, sunny day.  I finally convinced my skeptical Levi that it was a good idea for me to acquire an iphone.   He was skeptical because my phones usually end up in the washing machine.

I walked out of the phone store the proud owner of this lovely gadget.  It was a good day.  I had put make-up on and fixed my hair.  I was wearing my flowy Free People dress.  I was feeling all cool until Levi informed me that my little lace jacket was on inside out and my tag was sticking out like a sore thumb.

Oh well.  At least I will be able to peep, chirp  (or whatever one does on twitter) and tell you if the unborn is a boy or girl tomorrow. I am so excited!  Sign up and follow along…it will be fun!

Next stop was IKEA.  I can’t believe I have never visited this store. I love it and after seeing Kasey’s gorgeous living room I decided that I must buy something from this place.  I bought the Ektorp Sofa with a slipcover in a beautiful shade of dirt.  Sorry about the photo.  I will pick up the toys, clear the mantel, adjust my camera settings, change my lens and get a better photo later.

And then there is this.  What the heck am I supposed to do with this?  This isn’t the color of dirt.  It isn’t supposed to be anyway.  Levi brought a pair of them home from storage (aka his dirty concrete shop)  and they are trashed.  Should I paint them? Wallpaper them? Have a bonfire? Roast marshmallows?  Scrub those dirty footprints off my floor?  Help!

The iPhone is cool, one day Ill venture into serious technology. Im terrible at it! I hear it has tons of apps! Id be playing on it all day.

Im kind of new to the blog. So Im not up to speed. Is a baby on the way? If so, SO happy for you. Congrats!! Cant wait to learn more.

  8. Doesn’t look like Windy Ridge…hummm soften them up with casual fabric, paint/distress them black and try it again. They are fun and they have great “bones”. Add some funky pillows and there you have it.
I was looking on Etsy for something tonight and found this shirt for you…just couldn’t help but think of you and your pregnant belly…http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?ref=vl_other_1&listing_id=23816906

  9. the chair looks great to me! send it my way…
my chairs have spit-up, tinkle, throw-up stains. hubby and i just broke down and bought a leather couch and chair. the kids might scratch their names in them, but at least i will be able to wipe off the chocolate milk!

  10. Take pity on those of us who are Tweetless–boy or girl?

  11. lol! OMG I have done that so many times (wear ur shirt inside out), it must be a mom thing. I can’t even remember doing it once when I was a teenager or before I became a mom!

It’s like the unofficial sign that we’re well into our motherhood. haha.
