The other morning, Macy, came waddling down the stairs, meowing. This is unusual, because she will usually walk to the door if she wants out. I told Wyatt to open the door, but she wouldn’t go out. She walked up a few steps and turned around, plaintively meowing at Destiny. When Destiny would follow her she would head back up the stairs. When Destiny would stop she would turn around and start her woebegone meowing again.
I said: “By George, I think she is telling you something!”
So we followed her up.
She went straight to the baby bassinet, the one made with my wedding dress. The one that baby has never slept in, not once. I told Destiny she was probably ready to have her kittens, “grab a towel”. As soon as the old towel was put down she starting having kittens and I felt like a seasoned doula. Very exciting.
I guessed 6, she had 4.
Cats are so smart. : ) Ahhh…happy new kittens! My sweet Pope looked like Macy.

Aww! I miss having pet’s in the home. I grew up with cats and dogs having babies. It’s an experience! I think it is precious that she told you. >_< I am wanting to find a siamese kitten. I had a Siamese long hair growing up. Such good kitties.
