What a treat to wake up to these beautiful works of art in my mailbox. These photos of the Friday Harbor Collection really should be hanging in an art gallery and preserved forever, don’t you think? Sonia’s gift amazes me. She opened the package at the post office and impulsively drove to a local garden and shot these with her macro lens(I have no idea what that is, but I hear it is tricky to get portrait shots;).
This is how the Harbor Jeans are supposed to fit. I love the unconventional length. Not full length and not really crop. Yes I think I will start a new and fashionable length and I shall call it highwater. Perfect for the Pacific Northwest, a length that keeps the hemline out of mudpuddles and looks great with boots in the cold season and barefeet in the summer.
