We are in the grips of a ferocious winter storm, the worst storm in 40 years. We are trapped on our hill. This shows no sign of stopping until next weekend. Should make for an interesting Christmas dinner if we lose power(so far we have been lucky!). Ham over an open fire?
We have a mean sledding hill (see first photo). Brother Ben went flying down at a ghastly speed and the icy snow turned his hair completely white. By the time he got to the bottom he looked like Anderson Cooper.
love the pictures! ya, we are wondering if we’ll be able to leave our house to go to our family Christmas dinners. And so far we have been lucky to not lose our power, except for one hour last night. we will freeze if our power goes out for an extended period of time… it got really cold in here last night after just one hour! did you see us coming up your driveway backwards the other day? lol. i’m amazed we made it up your driveway, i was freaking out. 🙂

Magical! I’ve lived in the northeast most of my life and I still am in awe of freshly fallen snow.
Looks like an adventure! A lot of New Englander’s are still without power. We, fortunately, got ours back after being without for a week. Stay warm and have a very Merry Christmas!
Sigh. Those just don’t look real to me. I’ve never ever seen snow like that. Soooo beautiful.
Sounds like fun, we don’t have a very good sledding hill, tho I have a mean abscessed tooth so wouldn’t enjoy it now anyway!! Love the pics, I can just see Uncle Bumm (my kids name for Ben when they were little) w/ white hair!!

We don’t have as much snow as you do but a ton by our standards, 8 1/2 inches on Friday and it is snowing again. We have been home bodies but haven’t been able to sled because of high winds that are making the windchill absolutely unbearable. Wish we were having as much fun as you guys! I don’t know if I could brave that scary hill though;) Have a wonderful Christmas!
