A big space under the stairs serves as a walk-in toy closet. We painted the entire closet, including the ceiling, with chalkboard paint. You can find chalkboard paint in a few different colors, at any home improvement store. Easy, peasy, lemon squeezy and so many ways to use it.

i use our walk in closet under our stairs for the toy room too & have been thinking of painting one of the walls with chalkboard paint..but now i’ve changed my mind! i’m going to coat the entire closet in the stuff:D thanks for the inspiration!
