On the verge

projects

I have so many projects going at the moment.  I always feel like I’m on the verge of success.  I feel like TODAY I will finally get caught up. Problem is, this is a feeling I’ve had for the last 37 years. It’s good to be hopeful, right?

Our projects:

  1. Painting the entire walk-in toy closet with chalkboard paint
  2. Building slipcovers for my old sofa & loveseat
  3. Painting my the master bath and closet
  4. Designing the impromtu Saturday Market Collection(available in 4-6 weeks!)
  5. Adding, designing, collecting, producing the new Flea Market Home Collection
  6. Planting stuff in the yard (namely Azalea’s, Peonies & fruit trees)
  7. Getting the property ready for a 4th of July family campout
  8. Preparing for Halibut season on May 1st, Levi has been counting down

The list goes on….

In the midst of it all, we received this beautiful package from Missy.  A sweet gift for the babies.  Hazel has thoroughly enjoyed chewing on her music box.

  1. As soon as you conquer those you’ll think of something else! I hope you let yourself relax and enjoy the fruits of your labor. Walk-in toy closet? Uh, hello…HEAVEN!!!

  2. Sounds like me…
We have been in our home 3 years and every year I hope to get the different rooms painted, chandeliers bought, flowers planted in the flowerbeds…etc etc etc.
Daily life just sort of gets in the way. It’s ok until I am actually sitting down and looking at how filthy my walls are starting to get from all the little hands and feet. lol
I guess I should do what my mom does when we visit…she cherishes every little handprint she finds on her coffee table glass or the little star wars toy she finds under the couch after we leave. 🙂
    Goodluck with your projects!
