Christmas in April

christmas-in-april

After a week of snowfall I decided to play along and throw a Christmas party as promised.  Once the kids were off to school we draped the sconces with twinkling lights, baked cookies, wrapped dollar store gifts and baked a ham.  The school kids were so excited when they came home to fresh cookies(rare) and gifts, even 10 year old Sabra.  Though she did beg me to call it something other than a Christmas party.

“Please mom! Just say it’s a regular party. This is creepy!”

The girl acts like she is normal or something.  Maybe I should post her “boogie dance” clip.

A neat gift for kids of all ages? A crochet hook.  Keeps them occupied for hours as they crochet miles of useless chain.

Violet is dressed up in eden’s bouquet Josephine Set.

  11. jen….those miles of useless chains will soon end up being leg warmers for babies, headbands and pretty flowers for headbands, dishcloths (you can actually use), scarves, hats, and a host of other useful things….our 8 year old tova has created all these so far and gifts them to various rellys. she is NOT like her mom, who does NONE of these……very cute post. thanks for sharing. janine
