Blossoms in an old Purex bottle on my Mom’s windowsill
Spring has Sprung
Usually I’m looking for it. Anxiously waiting. Peering out into the pouring rain, begging for mercy. Vowing to move away from this Godforsaken place once and for all.
Then, after much anticipation, Spring arrives, bringing the promise of the most beautiful weather in the world. Summer in the Pacific Northwest is close to perfect, making every drop of dreaded rain worthwhile.
This year has been different.
Spring snuck up on me. She was early. While the rest of the country suffered wicked weather, we basked in sunshine and uncommonly mild temperatures.
A few weeks ago we were driving to town and BEHOLD, the trees had leaves. WHAT? Simple as that?
i love that image jen….love it!
would you mind~~i’m just now learning tricks with photoshop textures etc, would you mind giving me some ideas where i can find some fun things, i love the frame you used
happy spring to you

I’m still waiting here in Pennsylvania for our blossoms. I’m dying to smell them, especially apple. This looks beautiful!
Here is the south (ahem!)winter has been looong! I just checked this morning and there are buds on my weeping cherry! How glorious is spring, a sign of new beginnings. Love your picture and as always your blog!
Ready for spring, had a taste of it on Friday with temps near 70 then BAM–Blizzard Conditions and a half foot of snow on Saturday, CRAZY Oklahoma weather 🙂
So pretty…… we have been having gorgeous weather also… tho it is supposed to rain next week… Enjoying the nice weather while we have it!!
Now that it pretty.
Only you could take a Purex bottle and make it lovely.
…and you did just that!
Love it.
