Simply Sunday

sunday-7th

Today ended relaxing & peaceful,  but it didn’t start that way

Wyatt tried to pull Violet off the floor at church and gave her a good case of nursemaid elbow.  After some howling & tears, we brought to her to urgent care where it was swiftly popped back in place by the good doctor. $100 later, Violet is happy again.

  1. Ouch!! Glad the day ended peacefully!

  2. Oooh…poor thing. My mom (an RN) and I cringe whenever we see people on tv or in real life swinging their wee ones by there little arms. My best friend, who has four kids, says, “Why? We do that all the time.” I’m happy that Violet is feeling happy again.

ps At this very moment, I am having a lollipop too!

  3. I have three college kids . . but I sure have some great memories of when my kids were little, some I don’t want to remember, I wonder sometimes how we got through it. Definitely have to have a sense of humor . . believe me you’ll laugh your head off later on and you’ll really miss all the noise and commotion in the house. Enjoy all of it. Have a nice Sunday evening!

  9. I know with a big family there are moments of hectic, and moments of tears such as what Violet experienced (hope she ok now), but the view into your days are just lovely and pure. Love the view.
