Levi on the phone with his Dad.  Truck-driving Pops is on the road, hopefully he comes our way soon.

Jumping off the furniture.  This is not allowed.  Doesn’t seem to stop them.

We woke up Sunday morning with every intention of going to church.  Half of the family couldn’t find sock or pants and since I wasn’t interested in going to the Lord’s house with a bunch of barefoot kids in their undies we opted to stay home.  I plan to be better prepared this coming Sunday.

  1. I love this. =) My husband talks to his parents every Sunday before Church… and my parents house looks much this way with all of us together, and now 14 grandchildren, every Sunday whether my parents are there or not… there is no jumping off the furniture “allowed” either, not to say it doesn’t happen sometimes…

  2. Looks like a good time! Love when family is together, laughing and playing. Miss that!
Furniture hopping isnt allowed here, either. But never seems to stop them. Especially if they think I cant hear/see them!

  3. I’m reading your post like so many before… but I’m always looking at how truly beautiful your home is in the background. Very rustic and chic. Wonderful!

  4. Hmmmm… seems I have that same rule about the furniture that gets ignored. What is up w/ that??

  5. Enjoy it while they are around you, 10 yrs. plus you will be jonesin’ for the kids! yes and i also agree with lisa Ann, how about another house tour?

  6. Love it! 🙂

  7. The fact that jumping off the couch is not allowed never stops my boys either!!

  8. LOL…this cracks me up. Dad sitting in the background watching…Is this the “happy hour” you were talking about?
It’s “happy hour” here as I type. :/
    Have a great night!

  9. those darn socks…why is it i find them everywhere on everyday of the week except sundays?!?! i sure am glad that i’m not the only one with a sock problem…we’ll blame it on the socks….it couldn’t be the fact that i didn’t do laundry all week…;0)

  10. Oh my gosh, sometimes you just make me laugh right out loud. I so relate!

  11. Honestly I don’t know you you ever make it Sunday morning…I am down to no one in this nest but me and hubs and sometimes its still a struggle! PS I don’t think the Lord would mind barefoot kids in their undies but the rest of the congregation might! 🙂

  12. A little help to your “sock problem” is on it’s way! 🙂 Have a nice weekend! Love, Ninni

  13. We seem to have ALOT of thoses days..lol. it looks like they had a good time!!

    Have a great weekend!

  14. Is not allowed by mom only? LOL! The last picture Levi’s in the background watching.

  15. I have come to realize the key to successfully making it to church is laying EVERYTHING out the night before…socks, diapers, tights, dresses, hair bows…EVERYTHING! We go to the early service (8 am) and have to leave by 7:25 to be there on time…so it takes a lot of cooperation and preparation!

  16. This so reminds me of my house which is always crazy.

  17. so funny …. the pictures …
us and socks .. lol luckily I have only three pairs of feet to get the socks on … although the biggest challenge seem to be the undies .. for some reason both of the big boys hate them ….
