Miracles abound at Windy Ridge. The deepest sorrow brings the greatest Joy.
As a mother, this last week has been the hardest yet. I have experienced my deepest sorrow and it brought me to my knees, again, and I tremble to recall it.
God is faithful and this morning brings so much hope and joy.
We have so much to be thankful for. Always. No matter what.
God is good and MIGHTY. Always. No matter what.
Around here we give “birthday cows” instead of traditional gifts and after a beautiful morning of clarity and fellowship we look out the window and Landon’s birthday cow had just given birth. This image of my boy, wearing his hospital gown, holding his brand new calf means so much to me. Though the storms of life rage, we lean into the wind and press on. We are weak, but HE is strong.
“Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy.
For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow.
So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.
If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking”.
