This was my backdrop for most of December. Dry. A rare treat for those of us dwelling in the Pacific Northwest.
I kept it simple this year. We made chocolate dipped Oreo lollipops and candy cane sugar cookies. For this year’s gift wrapping I bought burlap bags and a spool of jute twine. So easy. Throw in the treats, tie with jute string and tags. The best part: No mess after they are unwrapped and they are reusable. I bought my burlap bags, here. Oreo lollipop instructions, here. These make a great gift and can be made for any occasion using different candy coatings. We made them for teacher and busdriver gifts.

I love the burlap bag idea. I treasure mine and would never give ’em out ’cause they’re oldies. Someone made those Oreo lollipops for a NYE party and I could have eaten my weight in them. OMG!!! Can you say “ice cream toppings?”
It makes everything so intriguing when you make it all your own style. Our family awaits surprises like these, always. It’s amazing how they come back, once adult and tell you how much these things mean to them. Beautiful!!
