Campfires & such

What a wonderful summer, so far. Hours spent around the campfire roasting supper and dessert, lounging in vintage chairs, reading old fashioned paper books while the kids splash merrily in the pond.

Vintage roasting sticks and dirty little knees.

(my vintage roasting sticks from “A Vintage Gathering” have come in very handy)

The much loved red canoe.

Tarzan Jean can always be found swinging off of something.

Hanging out around the fire with Lester(Levi’s bro) and Liz last night at the house.

The lovely L & L.

Natalie enjoying her marshmallow.

L & L’s littler feller.

My girl and her sweet marshmallow face.

This here is the epitome of summertime, eh? Juicy watermelon, twilight sky, sparkling eyes and a freckled face. Beautiful.

PS- Violet just caught a moth and named her “Fattawilly”…it’s going to be a good day.

  2. I think Norman Rockwell just turned over in his grave and smiled. And I *love* Violet and all the silly names she has for her little creatures.
