Entryway

I went junking and bought this pretty little dresser even though it wasn’t on my list.  It sat in the middle of my kitchen until I happened upon this post by Heather Bullard.  I yelled up to the big boys and had them move it to the main entry and I plopped the old chair(that also wasn’t on my list)...

Evangeline Ruffle Valance

The first piece in our new heirloom linens collection!  I designed this one for Destiny’s room and we have plans to use them on windows in many other rooms as well.  A wispy ruffled cotton valance to add charm to the windows without hiding the fantastic views.  More pieces from the Evangeline Collection coming soon, crib...

Dining Sofa

Wyatt and my niece, Sophia
Once upon a time I found a beautiful antique sofa with carved wood arms and legs.  The house wasn’t finished and I didn’t have room for it so I passed it up. Stupid me!  I have been searching for years and haven’t found another like it.  I found the second best...

Concrete countertop

I only managed to get a few good photos before the clouds rushed in and stole my natural lighting.  Levi made me a concrete countertop for my island over the weekend and I LOVE it.  I didn’t want anything fancy, nothing faux, just good old industrial concrete, Levi’s specialty. Easy(helps that Levi is a concrete man:),...

Birdcage

My favorite Farm Chicks find…an old birdcage for the tweetie birds.  You don’t even know how long I’ve been looking for the perfect cage.  Pedro & Rita love it.
Speaking of birds…
Levi couldn’t sleep while we were gone because the birds decided to camp out in the master suite.  We keep the door open so they...

Farm Chicks

At the last minute we hopped in the jalopy and drove 6 hours to the Farm Chicks Show in Spokane. Me, my 4 girls and 3 stinky teenage boys.  Landon drove most of the way. I am a glutton for punishment, but I was determined to see what the Farm Chicks Show was all about and tempted...

Chalkboard toy closet

A big space under the stairs serves as a walk-in toy closet.  We painted the entire closet, including the ceiling,  with chalkboard paint.  You can find chalkboard paint in a few different colors, at any home improvement store. Easy, peasy, lemon squeezy and so many ways to use it.

Violet is wearing the eden’s bouquet Pinstripe Bloomer from...
